Jet Fire Pro Thermal Insulation Jackets
Advanced Insulation Solutions LTD are proud to be license holders of the Passive Fire Protection (PFP) and Jet-fire insulation jacket services.
Advanced Insulation has dedicated substantial time and investment to obtain the relevant licence to carryout passive and jet fire works.
Such works have been approved by Lloyds register of shipping and Det Norske veritas, for the use of the AIS “120 Pro” insulation jacket on offshore and onshore projects.
Meticulous and consuming tests have been carried out to confirm the AIS “120 Pro” insulation jacket can withstand jet-fire conditions for up to 120 minutes.
Testing procedures were implemented after research proved that using passive fire protection on E.S.D.V’s and actuators could have played a significant role in preventing catastrophes like the Piper Alpha disaster. The AIS “120 pro” insulation jacket provides 120minutes for personnel to escape from the platform or place of work.
