New centre for AIS
AIS has opened a brand new purpose-built training centre on the Tyne Tunnel Industrial Estate in North Shields.
The new 7,000 square feet state-of the art centre is one of the highest rated, most well equipped and modern training facilities in the UK.
As well as suspended platforms, strategically placed ropes and anchor points and specialist rigging and confined space areas, the centre features fully equipped lecture areas with refreshment facilities.
Up to 1,500 people per year will be trained by AIS in the centre in world-recognised qualifications approved by leading bodies such as the Oil and Gas Academy (OPITO) and the Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA).
